A||||3||somec-||Creatine with sugar transport, bad for fat cutting?|||||| Z||000000||somec-||04-13-2000||11:22 AM||somec-@hushmail.com||I just received my shipment of protein mix and had thrown in container of Eclipse 2000 effervescent creatine since the price was good and I was about out (and I hadn't realized the Met-RX creatine was such a killer deal). Anyways, I received the shipment today and noticed on the nutrition label that each serving of creatine contains 5g of creatine monohydrate and a "delivery system" of 11g sugar. My fat cutting diet contains as little sugar as possible, is this 11g going to do more harm than good? I know that sugar can be a decent carb for creatine transport, but my main goal right now is to cut fat, muscle building is secondary. I don't mind adding water weight from creatine, but I don't want this sugar to hurt fat cutting (this damn spare tire has gotta go :-) Already taking MD-6, not sure if the ALA in it will negate some of the sugar or not. The ALA in MD6 definitely WILL help if you ARE carb sensitive, though.

Have you ever tried a cyclical ketogenic diet? It's hypocaloric/high-fat/low-carb on weekdays and hypercaloric/high-carb/low-protein on weekends.

On this diet, unlike others, you can lose fat and gain (or at least maintain) muscle at the same time. And you only do creatine on the weekends, in loading dosages, along with your carb load.

If you try it, you may like it and get the best of all possible worlds.
