A||||11||Pubert||Major headaches...but from what? Tyrosine?|||||| Z||000000||Pubert||04-12-2000||11:47 PM||tim@carstereos.org||I just added Tyrosine to my supp stack and I just starting getting some pounding headaches...but I don't know why...

The headaches only occur when I'm doing intense workouts, such as squats/bench or chin ups...If I take the tyrosine on a day I don't workout, I don't have any problems...

Could the tyrosine be causing the headaches?

Tyrosine is the main precursor of adrenaline, noradrenaline, and dopamine. If you're taking stimulants, taking extra tyrosine is a great idea because it prevents your amino-acid pool from becoming tyrosine deficient. However, in some people, excess tyrosine creates a dopamine imbalance, resulting in headaches.

I would give it a month. If it keeps giving you a headache, dump it.||199.105.128.14||reg|| Z||000002||mossberg||04-20-2000||06:23 PM||mossberg@home.com||Gave me BIG headaches||24.4.252.137||reg|| Z||000003||Frackal||04-20-2000||08:11 PM||rsblunt3d@msn.com||What does your pre workout supp stack look like?? I had the same problem until I switched out a couple things, then the headaches stopped....||63.14.52.222||reg|| Z||000004||Pubert||04-23-2000||02:11 AM||tim@carstereos.org||I work out in the morning, so my morning stack is my preworkout stack.

Morning
2 Adipokinetix
1 Guggulobolic
1 Aspirin (81mg childs)
2 Norabol
2 Andro Infusion
1 Tyrosine
1 Teaspoon Glutamine

Workout (This is where the headaches would occur) If I didn't workout, I wouldn't have headaches. After the workout, I would have some Creatine with my breakfast (usually about an hour after the workout).

Noon
1 Adipo
1 Guggul
1 Aspirin (81mg)
2 Norabol
2 Andro
No tyrosine
1 multivitamin
1 1000mg Vit C

Evening
1 Teaspoon Glutamine

I'm also on a CKD diet, have 2 protein shakes per day (mid morning, mid afternoon snacks) and get Flax seed oil after the morning workout, which I also take creatine with, and in the evening.

I've been off everything for the past week and will start working out tomorrow (deadlifts) and see what happens...

I'm afraid it could be high blood pressure caused by something, but I don't see how...I've been on the adipo/guggul/aspirin for about a month and didn't introduce the other supps until a couple weeks ago.

I know that Adipo has some yohimbine in it so that MAY be the problem, but I really don't know. (I do know that the headaches stopped when I stopped taking yohimbine though)||63.14.43.190||reg|| Z||000006||max258||04-27-2000||09:58 PM||||It gave me headaches.||207.51.228.221||reg|| Z||000007||CRAZY in ALABAMA||04-27-2000||10:13 PM||jimmy4522@aol.com||shit man! every time i workout my legs i get a pounding headache. its just from straining so hard. but tyrosine could have something to do with it,.||205.188.192.187||reg|| Z||000008||Vitaman||04-28-2000||06:38 AM||rbriley@vet.upenn.edu||Just a thought. Two years ago I started getting severe headaches during lifting that I had trouble finding the cause to. In my case, I had strained my neck doing different types of crunches by incorrectly placing my hands behind my head on some of them. Have someone monitor your routine to see if they can pick up on something you might be missing. It worked for me.||130.91.88.84||reg|| Z||000009||GOWZER||04-28-2000||05:17 PM||dcitydave@aol.com||IVE HAD SIMILAR EXPERIENCE WITH TYROSINE,SINCE IT AFFECTS SEVERAL NEURO TRANSMITERS IN THE BRAIN ,I SUGGEST STAYING AWAY FROM THE STUFF AND BEWARY OF PRODUCTS CONTAINING TYROSINE SUCH AS XENADRINE AND SOME OF THE THYROID SHIT...||152.163.194.198||reg|| Z||000010||Pubert||04-30-2000||02:00 AM||tim@carstereos.org||Well...I've started to add everything back in to my supp stack, including the Prohormones (except Tyrosine) and I am fine now...

I think I will try and re-add the Tyrosine sometime next week and see if the headaches come back.

I am only going to try it again, because I feel that the person who recommended the neck problems, may be right.
