In answer to your question, protien is the most important, especially in the hour after you workout. It will be even better if you take a whey protien, and even better if you take it with simple sugars.
In you want to look into other supplements for quicker recovery, I would reccommend any of the following: creatine, glutamine, prohormones, Methoxylon. There are others but these are just ones I have had results with or seen people have results with. A lot of supplements are just crap though. Get educated on what actually has scientific proof of working and just what works for you.
