I'm not scared of carbs. It's hard to keep my bodyfat down. Plus when I spend money on carbs I want them great tasting like broccoli and cheese, potatoes, etc.

Hands down, SOLID PROTEIN BARS by Nature's Best, try the Dutch Chocolate, Cookie Dough Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip, but NOT the honey almond ones...I think they taste great and the price can't be beat.

I've been hearing alot of bad things about bars lately. Check the ingredients, if it lists hydrolyzed protein, chances are the protein has been derived from gelatin and is unusable by the body. I used to love Promax but after checking their label, no more. I think the pure protein bars are pretty legit. Also Labradas are good, they list hydrolyzed whey, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's gelatin derived.

FC, actually hydrolyzed does not mean gelatin
it's actually whey isolate that's been 'predigested' for easier absorbtion & if they claimed to've put 'hydrolyzed'then don't buy it,they're trying to con you, because hydrolyzed whey, is 'bitter & smell horrible'I've 15LBS of it & I don't need to take any "fat burner" to shed body fat in effect I save good money.I guess I don't have to say where I bought it, you guys know it already.

Parrillo protein bars. Sure, they taste like yesterday's leftovers that got micowaved too long and then left out in the road to be squished, but hey, they're great quality. Unlike other protein bars, after I eat them I don't feel bloated.
Try this with other protein bars...put a small piece in a glass of lukewarm water and see how long it takes for the piece to completely dissolve. I tried this with about 5 other protein bars and found that the parrillo bar dissolved very quickly. I like that. I want to be sure that what I'm taking in is getting absorbed quickly. I know it's not exactly the same thing, but at any rate, it's just an observation.

I think Cross Pro by VPX and Ultimate Protein Bar by Biochem are best.
