I saw this article on yahoo earlier about how the Old Spice guy proposed to a fan's fiance for him. I'm pretty sure you've seen the Old Spice guy on TV - "The Man Your Man Could Smell Like." Well anyways, I was doing some research on this guy after reading the article, and wondering if he had any sort of bodybuilding background since he's pretty ripped.

After doing the research, I found out the Old Spice guy, a.k.a. Isaiah Mustafa, used to play football at Arizona State with Jake "The Snake" Plummer. After graduating from ASU, Mustafa signed with the Seattle Seahawks. After a brief stint with the Seahawks, Mustafa moved on to the Tennessee Titans practice squad. Eventually, Mustafa bounced to the Barcelona Dragons NFL Europe team before ending his football career.

This is where Mustafa's acting career started as he had a few small parts in TV shows and movies before landing the big commercial gig with Old Spice. Some of you may think that looking all of this up was a big waste of time (hopefully not though), but I thought it was interesting to find out the story behind this guy.
