In fact, he looks a lot more like the 63-year-old man who spent a rough 8 years in the California Governor's office than anything. But he definitely looked like a superhero in his bodybuilding prime, which is a big reason why he is getting his own cartoon.<\/p>\n
Comic book geek and Spiderman co-creator Stan Lee is set to work on a new cartoon featuring Schwarzenegger called the Governator. The cartoon name is a take-off on the nickname that Arnold was given in office, and it's set to be released in 2012. <\/p>\n
Arnold is excited about the cartoon as he said, \u201cWhen I ran for governor back in 2003 and I started hearing people talking about \u2018the Governator,\u2019 I thought the word was so cool,\u201d He finished by saying, \u201cThe word Governator combined two worlds: the world of politics and the movie world. And [this cartoon] brings everything together. It combines the governor, the Terminator, the bodybuilding world, the \u2018True Lies\u2019\"<\/p>\n
Lee also commented on the cartoon by saying, \u201cWe\u2019re using his wife [Maria Shriver.] We\u2019re using his kids. We\u2019re using the fact that he used to be governor. Only after he leaves the governor\u2019s office, Arnold decides to become a crime fighter and builds a secret high-tech crime-fighting center under his house in Brentwood.\u201d<\/p>\n
I have to admit that it will be exciting to see how this cartoon plays out when it hits television in 2012.<\/p>\n
