Although it has taken a while, the man who ran the largest steroid lab in history was finally sentenced to prison this past week. <\/p>\n
Warren Abramson, who was also arrested in Las Vegas for trying to buy illegal firearms, ran a Compton, California steroid lab that was raided in 2007 during Operation Raw Deal. After the raid, police discovered over a quarter million doses of steroids, along with packaging materials so he could ship the roids over the internet. After raiding his Compton headquarters, police said that they believed this was the biggest lab ever found.<\/p>\n
Abramson's case finally went to trial last week, and he pled guilty to one count of possession with the intent to distribute anabolic steroids, and three counts for having unregistered gun silencers. The last three counts played a heavy part in the three-year prison sentence that Abramson was handed.<\/p>\n
