Mr. Spellwin,Always growing up I was the big kid. By sixth grade I weighed 200 pounds. By 18 I weighed 325 my all-time high. Losing weight was always a trouble area of mine.<\/p>\n

I decided to start changing when I couldn't believe how much depression and stress I felt just from being overweight. Since then I had lost over 140 pounds and hit 185, but with very little muscle mass.<\/p>\n

The past few years I've striven to put on weight healthily, but my body loves to pack on fat if I'm not careful. I found Elite Fitness late summer of 2010 when I got the 'bug' of body building and was just searching for training programs, nutrition guidance, and all around knowledge on body transformation and weight loss.<\/p>\n

By the end of 2010 I was nearing 250 pounds and about to put on size 40 jeans when I said enough is enough. I'm not going back to that part of my life, ever again. I committed to myself that 2011 would be the year to transform physically and maintain a healthy lifestyle from here on out.<\/p>\n

I saw the contest, and actually doubted myself a few times to enter, when I finally just said, I'm doing it, with or without sponsorship I'm doing it. That's exactly what I told Nathan Chase, and if he wanted to have his name along side mine I'd welcome it, but either way this is my commitment and I'm going to be part of this. I'm so glad he saw potential in me and gave me a chance to be sponsored by Needtobuildmuscle<\/p>\n

The sponsorship made me push myself so much more to represent some great people and a great company. It has been an incredible journey so far, and looking back, it amazes me how far I've come as well as my fellow competitors.<\/p>\n

Now, I get compliments from people; friends and family are shocked at how much I've changed, and I only tell them this is just the beginning. My ultimate goal is 10% body fat by the end of 2011, and I believe I'm only four or five months out from obtaining that goal.<\/p>\n

I'm proud so far with what I've accomplished, and it truly has been one of my greatest commitments in my life and I hope to continue this passion for decades to come. I thank Elite Fitness and everyone involved in this contest for being part of this new beginning in my life and it will be forever recognized as the source of my new-found commitment to health and fitness.<\/p>\n
