San Diego, California: While Los Angeles and Hollywood hold an almost mythical image of being the ultimate place to live for a bachelor or bachelorette, you can pretty much get the same effect in San Diego without spending as much money. Lake Michigan also has a lot to offer in terms of meeting people while doing different activities. One of the most popular is jogging on the lakefront where it is very easy to meet someone.
