Wish me luck.

Weight class: 177 - 198 lbs. I'm hoping to weigh in at 198 lbs.

Otherwise I'll have to compete in 199 -242 lbs which would be suicide.

Right arm.

If I place, I can qualify for Canadian nationals and worlds!!

We'll see how it goes - I'll try to post up some videos...I'm probably going to get destroyed, but it should be a good experience for me.

Wow thats really interesting never seen a legit competition for arm wrestling. Definitely go for the videos bro.

How much do you know about arm wrestling?

Prioritize your wrist and grip strength followed by arms.

REALLY heavy wrist curls as far as I know are a major staple of elite arm wrestlers.

Heavy one arm preacher curls also seem to be popular.

Thanks bro

Any advice on training in the meantime? :p

practice your technique, get good at top rolling if your in doubt of your strength compared to the other guys. Im still trying to find a competition here in the UK :(

yep, and leverage is key. I used to smoke doods much bigger, stronger than I am. Form/position/leverage is most the battle.
