Royal Rumble Match
15 stars from each of the two productions, RAW and Smackdown! I’m gonna list the fighters in order of appearance. The second list is the order of elimination.

Match ended with John Cena and Dave Batista the last two fighters in the ring. Cena goes for the FU only to have Batista block it. Batista then turns to hit the Batista Bomb, as he turns Cena hits him and they both go over the rope. Both guys appear to hit the floor at the same time, with one referee claiming Cena is the winner and the other referee claiming Batista the winner.

Everyone looks confused and out comes Vince McMahon. He is arguing the call with both refs. Both fighters get back in the ring and the Fink announces the match will restart with the winner going to WM this spring. Jon Cena went up for the FU but Batista reversed into a spinebuster and then tossed Cena to the floor. Winner of the Royal Rumble and going to WM to face Triple H for the World Heavyweight Title is Dave Batista.

This should make for a great story line in the coming weeks. I’m gonna love to see Evolution breaking up. The sad thing is we all know that even if Batista does win the title at WrestleMania, that Triple H will get the belt back pretty quick.

World Heavyweight Title
- Champion Triple H defeated Randy Orton by hitting a pedigree followed by a three count.

WWE World Heavyweight Title/Triple Threat Match
- Champion John Bradshaw Layfield defeated the Big Show and Kurt Angle. Angle walked into a clothesline from hell followed by a pinfall. Mind you there was tons of going on outside the ring all fight.

Casket Match
- The Undertaker defeated Heidenreich. Taker hit a huge DDT and gestured for the chokeslam, followed by the tombstone. Undertaker then rolled him up into the casket for the win. Snitsky and Kane hid in the casket. They later interfered and fought each other.

- Edge defeated Shawn Michaels in the opening match of the night by pin fall. Edge reversed a rollup attempt by HBK, with a little help from rope leverage.
