I'm experiencing a lot of frustrations with trainers. Most of the BB'ing trainers in my area are guys.
All they want to ever do is keep me on low calories (off season). I can neither gain muscle nor lose body fat on 1500-1600 calories. Not enough calories to gain, and low enough calories to cause me to hit starvation mode. I know that you can't gain muscle and lose fat (unless you are really new, or on gear), but being able to do one or the other would be nice...
I have been doing this for a while now (4 years or so), and have found that in order to lose fat, I have to get about 2000 per day, and carb cycle
up to 2400-2500 every few days. By doing this, I will feel great and lose body fat at a good pace (not too fast, but fast enough to keep me motivated...).
But yet, why do my trainers continue to argue with results?
Over time, you come to know your body and what works... why won't they take this into consideration?
Thanks for letting me vent... This ever happen to you??
