Actually, thanks to an INCREDIBLY stupid provision in HIPAA law there is no such thing as a "complete retrospective analysis." Even with pt. written authorization, 3rd party medical records cannot be released. Doctors are not allowed to release to anyone, not even the patient, records that were NOT generated in their office. As you can see, it leaves a potential to cause a huge breakdown in information. I'm running into a major, major problem trying to build my stepdaughters medical file.
Long story short, if you do not have the foresight to get and retain copies of all of your medical records, whenever you change physicians you run the risk of getting deleted.
Oh, and what Miplank said.

You asked and I answered as honestly as I could.

"Entertainment. And you are providing it." I got hung up on that comment, and thought about what it really means.
What an ugly thing to think. I do give you credit for being forthright. However, I've been forced to be the butt of jokes IRL too many times to subject myself to it willingly when doing something that is supposed to be fun.

"First you get your nose out of Joint because I withdrew from the thread we were derailing, but didn't PM you. Now you're doing what? Exactly what are you trying to accomplish here, Plunk?"
Entertainment. And you are providing it.
"I mean, maybe IRL you're an okay dude but apparently there's this snarky side to you that you let come out and play on the interwebs. Is it deep seated hostility towards women, unconventional religion, liberals, people who think capitalism is flawed or what?"
It's pure amusement from chicks who have control issues that intersect dysfunctionally with new-age hippie feminism.
