    What are you currently benching & for how many reps. Tell me what your weekly training routine is - ie. days training what bodyparts, what the exercises are, and what weights & rep schemes are used? With that info I can start helping you. Oddly enough benching was not my specialty till I retired from bodybuilding for awhile & got into it. I do allot of odd things for my bench training & am not going to confuse you just yet with it - first I want to see what you are doing... Pushing to hard is not always a bad thing it just depends on what you are pushing yourself to hard in & is it pertinant to what you are trying to accomplish.

    Well, bench is my weakest lift. I'm not really at a plateau, but i'm not sure what the BEST way is to gain strength there. I have a tendency to push myself too hard, too quickly. So I'd love to hear how YOU managed to build up to where you are. I highly doubt i'll ever put up comparable numbers, But I'd love to bench just over my body weight (I weight 115, 135 is my happy zone).

    Just wanted to drop in and say thank you for welcoming me to the forum. I am looking forward to chatting with all of you. Also, thanks regarding my 330 bench - that was last year. When I am done with the Masters Nationals in July I will start preping for my next meet - shooting for a 400 bench in the 148's or 165's. I will keep all posted. You asked about help with your bench - ASK AWAY...

    Also, keep an eye out as I will be posting my training journal & updating it daily...
