Gotta love the new doctors, seriously. I loved him back in the 70s but the series has done nothing but improve ... although the Moffat (sp?) episodes do have a tendency to get seriously "timey-wimey."

If someone put a gun to my head and said pick a religion or die...I would choose Wicca because it is least intrusive to my individual freedom. I bust your balls, I mean ovaries, because I have to challenge all belief systems...On a side note I converted Cindy and Aimee to Dr. Who fandom...I can't be all bad...

See, that's what I mean! You serve in the military, by God you BELIEVE in the Bill of Rights because you put your ass on the line to friggin' protect it!

I think Ledhead is a ing fraud. On the plus side, at least now he's a fraud who contributes to the site!

I'll always have your back when it comes to freedom of religion....You have the right to practice your religion unobstructed by the govement as long as you aren't harming anyone else....Wiccans and human sacrifice..wtf? That's some 16th century bogotry right there...

I'm not talking agrarian. I'm talking hunter gatherer. There wasn't a ed thing wrong with the lifestyles of the Native Americans, Aborigines or most of the tribes of Africa, UNTIL they were FORCED out of their nomadic hunter/gatherer lifestyle.

Yeah, people died from things that they don't now, but what most people don't seem to GET is that this planet is already HEAVILY over-poted. Frankly, when it comes to life, quality is more important than quantity. And I think the quality of the life of the average indigenous person 2,000 years ago was a helluva lot better, in terms of family relationship, friendships, emotional satisfaction and connectedness to the environment when compared to the modern commuter.

I think humans are becoming soulless, materialistic, empty shells (this comment has nothing to do with religion/spirituality, BTW).

I theorize all anthropoligists have never endured ancient subsistence agriculture and I think modern humans exaggerate their trials and tribulations. Name a single United States family that starved to death due to crop failure or died from a plague or commonly cured infections from a minor cut last year...?

I must spread some karma, yadda yadda ... hubby and I just watched all 10 of the "God Warrior." Sad, sad lady. Imagine living your life so frightened? As for the pyschosomatic stuff, *sigh*, the poor thing was just a bundle of nerves. I feel bad for her and people like her, Java, I really, really do. Not enough to want them even 100' near my life, mind you, but I do feel compassion and pity for their plight.
