In NY, near the coast of Lake Erie, closer to PA than Niagra, is a place called Lilydale. It's a community of mediums dating from the 19th century, I think.
Mad-hatten isn't very spiritual, it's ... harsh. Upstate NY is lovely, particularly for camping. But you like fashion and gadgets, you'll have fun
I find NY, well, all heavily urban areas, exhausting. -
