Had a pretty good day.Another day CLEAN!!!I give all the glory to God for transforming my mind, and heartas well.
The things which attracted me in the past don't even interest me any more!I'm literally a new creation.
Iused to here that being said before and I'd say"Yeah, yeah, whatever, whos got dope?"
Went to church today,being the 7-day Sabbath(Friday sundown-Saturday sundown).

Glad you had a great day, uncle rico!!!
You seem very positive
My worst days sober are always better than my best days high.
I am actually noticing each day where my character defects are beginning to improve a bit. I'm starting to be less selfish and fearful. I am trying to be at peace with the moment, and to be good to people around me. Being a part of humanity...

I've never seen our long time friend have that type of sense of humor in here. In C&C, oh yeah, but I seriously doubt it.

I had a GREAT day!!
For starters,I asked Him for forgiveness this morn, and KNOW that my slate was fresh!!
Then in my group my endeavors were appreciated and acknowledged!!
Then I had a KILLER training session!!
When I got home ,hadchicken&rice&scrambled eggs!!
Opened my bedroom door and had a new laptop there!!!!
God is great!! He is the source of ALL my blessings.
OUR GOD IS AM AWESOME GOD!!!!

I just wanted to say thank you for all the thoughts and experiences regarding higher powers. It's given me a lot to think about. Trex, I loved what you wrote about the times where you "just know" it's the right thing to do. I have had those moments and they are very clear and very powerful. I've been pretty shut down when it comes to spirituality and I've been remembering those moments and trying to be a little more in touch with whatever my higher power will be. Leaving the contest was one of those moments. Giving myself permission to NOT be tied so strictly to a diet and training schedule was another very liberating, peaceful moment a couple weeks ago. It's like deep down in your core you know it's the right thing to do for yourself, but...just to make sure, my sciatic nerve pain has been so bad this week, that walking is a challenge. My higher power just wanted to ensure I'm going to follow through on not being as regimented.
Anyway...I appreciate the insight everyone has shared. It helps me on my own journey.

Greeting UR! Thanks for stopping by, we love to have new members say "Helllo". Maybe one day you could share a story or two and tell us about your experience, strength, and hope. I/ we like to hear other stories, they help keep us clean and sober.
Good to have you.
