Thanks Saibot - yeah, the diet guidelines look fun lol. I will just have to defer any phobia about fat gains for the two weak period.

I'd imagine though the routine works best if your body feels fully fresh for it, so I may do 2-3 weeks of slightly less intense lifting before it

Desmond in order to do that routine you have to follow the diet guidelines as well, like the whole milk, 6 whole organic eggs a day, the nuts, basically eat your ass off, high protein, high fat, carbs during 2 weeks with money exercises, it's worth it and since you are very lean, you will have great results without fat gain! I did it almost 5 years ago.

Has anyone tried or known of anyone who's tried Nelson Montana's 2 week shock routine which will make you feel like ur on sauce (in his words)

    Day 1
After warming up, dip till failure. Once failure in the full range is
reached, continue with partial reps until total failure is achieved. If you can do more than
15 full dips, add weight. Do four sets.
    Day 3
Squats. Using a weight which you would normally use for 10-12 reps and do
20 reps. Rest as long as you need to do another set of 20. Repeat for four sets. You're
    done.
    Day 5
Without a warm up, do a set of slow, deliberate, underhand chins to failure. Rest
completely before embarking on a set of heavy deadlifts. Do 3 more sets of deadlifts
with maximum weight in the 3-4 rep range.

Given I've been on omega, I did wonder whether a shock compound routine like this could have any effect post omega.

Irongwings: I'm in Australia, so no excuse re food binging. We have "Australia Day" which may be our equivalent to Thanksgiving day, but most Australian's just treat it as a chance to get ed, see fireworks, or treat it as any other public holiday. I don't think we're as patriotic as Americans generally, except for in sport.

got some legs in today - felt great! I'm with you Desmond, I ate way too many calories today. Well, yesterday for that matter too. Didn't each much over Thanksgiving though. I'm not really big on the whole "let's celebrate wiping out a viable potion" it seems insane to me. Back to the grind.

Ironwings: I will I think just do 2 weeks of cardio only. No HIIT either. Some tennis and running - that is all.

I reckon I had one of the worst cheats in history today - probably consumed 8000 cals+. Oh god!!! Just added a week to any future diet.

des: cardio is kind during your rest - you WILL go crazy not doing anything. How about taking one week off - cardio only? Then get in some negatives or high rep training (low volume). I'm on week 2 of rest and still burning fat with cardio and diet only. I feel a little soft but I understand that is all in my head (whatever ;-) - either way the rest has been tough but worth it. Today I might slip in some light leg training (and cardio of course) just to keep me sane.

Ironwings: stay in this forum lol. But seriously we need more not less great people here.

    My protein consumption is very high ATM - 270-320g. It's about 300g P; 220 (net carbs); 90-120F.
The painful ing has abated - body adjusting to leucine? A rest will drive me crazy, but it may be for the best. Another option was a 2 week mini-cut before Christmas as I'm spending NY eve on the beach. I'm guessing I'm at 11% now (avatar is recent and representative), so I could maybe drop 2% in two weeks.

I know this doesn't seem like a rest but I was going to train with no stressful techniques - e.g., negatives, etc - and maybe even cut volume while increasing cardio dramatically. I miss running and tennis.

I dunna know - sticking to a plan of rest is hard unless I'm actually on a holiday. I also tend to eat worse on rest days than when I'm training.

des -how much protein are you taking in? My consumption has gone up considerably too...

oh - and I vote two weeks off. I took a week recently and it wasn't enough - even though I thought it was at the time. onebreath is finishing up his two week break. I know he is going crazy but it has been worth it.
