OK, so one of my favorite movies of all time was on Cinemax last night---AlienS. I think that it was actually better than the first, which is rare as you all know. That being said, which sequels do you think are the best one's. Those that were just as good, or better than, the original. My choices were Aliens, Empire Strikes Back, and Godfather 2.

T2 was good. Landmark special effects & shit, but the first one was better imo. I think that part of the reason is seeing Arnold as a bad guy is refreshing(in retrospect of course). He always plays the hero & that gets old. I love how the first one had that dark, post nuclear look to it.

I saw the thread and immediately thought T2. I also have the rocky gift set on dvd and yes rocky 5 is the worst movie ever, why they made it I'll never know.

i thought rocky 4 was the best rocky movie. i love that part when rockys gettin the shit beat out of him and all of a sudden he lands a right hook and the announcer says, "the russian is cut! the russian is cut! and it's a nassssssty cut"

Yeah, T2 is probably the best sequel ever made with Aliens a close second. Gota love James Cameron...I can even forgive him for using Celine Dion's music on Titanic.

Btw, Empire Strikes Back isn't actually a sequel...it's part of a trilogy--one big story.

Oh, and I thought "Girls Who Suck Cock and Eat Cum #16" far eclipsed the scope and vision of the original. Very powerful and moving.
