There is no point in weighing yourself daily. Depending on hydration, sodium levels, and digestion your weight can easily flucuate 5-10 pounds a day. Weigh yourself once a week on the same day at the same time. For me it's first thing Monday morning after I relieve my bladder. It also will help if you can take weekly bf measurements at the same time. You can chart your weight, bf%, fat mass, and lean body mass to really keep up with what gains you are or are not making. I wish I started this months ago. I probably wouldn't be so fat now

I will start doing that. So the best time to weigh yourself is in the morning after you take a ?

Also whats the best way to determine my bf%?

Ill start keeping down my weight, bf%, fat mass and lean body mass

well since your weight varies throughout the day, you will weigh the least in the morning because of food metabolizing, if you really want to chart your weight, pick a time during the day to weigh yourself and be consistent with it. if you do morning showers, a great time to weigh in is when your about to step into the shower in butt naked.

as for bodyfat. there are several methods DEXA (dual energy X-ray absorptiometry) This test is used to measure bone density, but it also measures body fat percentage as well as where most of your fat is which is not too hard to figure out from just looking in the mirror.

Hydrostatic Weighing, just underwater weighing, and Calipers tests which they offer in a lot of gyms for a small fee.
also the Bioelectrical Impedance which is just a BIA scale. they're not the most accurate but i have one and its pretty consistent.

Bod Pod is supposed to be better than underwater weighing. Research shows that when doing underwater weighing....your are supposed to expell all air from your lungs to the most accurate reading. What alot of people do...cause they are scared to expell ALL AIR..they hold a small amount of air in lungs during the test and it throws off the reading. Bod pod is a hyperbarac chamber which accurately measures lung volume by breathing normally. Its within -/+ 1% BF.

I use an accu-measure caliper. It is not super accurate but it's cheap, and it gives rme an idea of where I'm at for monitoring purposes.
