CKD Day 2 Journal

Not going to bore you w/ day to day stuff.
So far Day 2, nothing really to report, I generally try to hit gym in the morning for cardio I did very little 100cal run 100cal bike, I try for 100 cal run 400 cal bike but my legs were tired from my previous 100 cal run 500 cal bike on the day before, Later in the afternoon I did hit the weights targeting my back I usually do a back/bi split but I felt queasy don't believe its from low carbs but lack of fuel in total, up untill that point the only thing I ate was a can of tuna (150cal) and 2 eggs (70cal ea.)
gonna hit bis in a few minutes, then around 12 or 1:30am run for a bit not much, just incase I took in too many calories later (spam and all that high fat food add up cals FAST) tommorrow I get the keto sticks
 
Good for you! Don't underestimate how lousy you can feel--you are going through a sort of withdrawl.
 
I been on it for 3 weeks.Its fuckin hell,especially since it didnt work for me.Im gettin of it startin this Sunday(cant wait).Good luck to you though.I hope it works out.Be prepard to feel like total shit for at least two weeks.If your job requires physical labor its even worse because you gotta go workout too at least 3-4 days a week to preserve muscle.Take EC stack before workout.It helps alot mentally.

Damn straight! I got off it after 4 weeks yesterday. Made me feel like crap, and foul tempered as hell. Physically I was screwed - no strength and clumsy as a baboon.

And worst of all - I lost no weight at all. And didn't change my BF%.

I guess it works for some people - not me though.
 
I think perhaps you guys who are thinking of quiting should try a TKD (targeted ketogenic diet). That way you can still have great fat loss with more comfort n ease. This way you can have a high carb n protein post workout drink. An this may take the edge off. Ps I am on a TKD, just something of an adapted CKD. Just testing the waters , no probs.

What ever you do, do NOT stop drinking water for any reason. I don't care if your bladder feels like the Goodyear blimp! I was putting out ketones in my urine and getting good fat loss then I got a urinary tract infection that trashed the lining of my bladder (I was passing blood clots) and I had trouble for over six months and even had to see a specialist! DRINK, DRINK, DRINK!!!
