test testing kit

Hey All,
I think I may be testosterone deficient, and I was wondering if any of you have any experience using a testing kit that you send saliva away to a lab, and they send you a profile?

I told my family doctor that I thought that I have low testosterone, but he pretty much blew me off, so just to get an idea, I thought maybe going the test kit path.

Anyone?

And, can someone have alot of body hair, but still have low testosterone?
I think that was the reason the doctor didn't take me seriously, because I'm rather hairy.

How old are you? I have no experience with the test kit that you speak of but I will tell you that I really had to pressure my Dr ot get my test levels tested. Turned out they were low. I would try your Dr again, and tell him / her you want a full horomal break down (LH, FSH, SHBG, free test). Most likey they will want a reason why you want it tested so have some answers for them.
