Help locating a tread

When I first signup to the forum I received what it looked like a private message that appear on every article I read with my user name and said if I wanted help to follow his instructions and it took me to this incredible article with description on what was what and how to take it. And instructions on how to contact him for help. Well here is my problem I can't find the tread or remember the name of the person.

that's the thing its not a PM. and I just cant locate how i got to that tread.

If u remember key words in headline of thread or general info in thread go to the search and search it out

Type in the topic of the thread

I have done several searches and came up empty. I did come across some incredible ignorant treads dating back to 2003.

the only other thing I remember about this specific tread is that he (the original author) was the only person replying to his tread.

I was unable to locate the user "bass killer" but thanks for the input.
