Has anyone had any (first hand) experience taking finasteride while on a cycle? How were your gains?

While propecia will not affect the anabolic action of your cycle. however, because it inhibits the 5a reduction of TEST to DHT you will not get as much CNS stimulation. DHT is a stronger stimulant of the CNS than test. This means that innervation of the muscle tissue and the power of muscle contraction will be reduced- though probably only slightly. If you are worried about hair I would add Nizoral shampoo as well.
BTW- the reason that some men have erectile dysfunction while taking propecia is partly related to the reduction of CNS effects. Though while on cycle the amount of androgens in excess of normal should preclude this from happening.

My currently using of 5mg of fin/ED and a daily shower using Nizoral shampoo. My starting cycle weight was 210. Right now... er last night I topped in at 235. Used the dbol/sust/deca plan with a primo taper and have not noticed any difference in gains by using the fin. I've had zero hair loss, but some minor acne (prone to that anyway). Will I do the fin again? YUP. Even if it reduced my potential gains by 20% (that would be 5 lbs. as compared to this cycle) I would still take it. I like having my hair and being able to take by shirt off without worry. Do I think it reduces your gains by 20%? NO. 10%? NO. MAYBE 5%, but like I said, I can't tell, and who here would not trade in a 1lb. gain for keeping their hair?

WarLobo-

Thanks for the first-hand account! About the Nizoral shampoo... is it cheaper on the black market or from your doctor?

Hey! Guess What?!?! It is OTC baby! And like 15 bucks for a bottle.... Lasted my whole 15 week cycle. Of course I don't have much hair left to wash :p

It is the 1% stuff, but hey, leave it on for a few minutes. GO BUY IT NOW!
