I have a couple questions regarding some of the posts here over the weekend.
1) It was mentioned during the 2x2x2 discussion that orals were calculated
x3. Example A-50 taken two a day was calculated as (100mgx7days)x3=2100mg/week.
Is this true and why isn't it just the daily mg dosage times the number of days,
ie,100mgx7days=700mg/week?
2) Most of my IM experience comes from vials. The few times iv'e used amps I simply
scored the amp and snapped open. There was mention of using syringe filters
for ampules, due to glass chips. Is this the case? Is this something I need to worry
about?
