Finaplix goes bad VERY QUICKLY. When shipped, it should always be expressed and with some form of refrigerant(gel pack or dry ice). When stored it is placed in a refrigerator and will last only a couple months tops. Your pellets are no doubt BROWN. They should be a light yellow. I'm not sure chemically what is happening to the pellets but I'd be wary of putting them into my body.
