I am wondering how many of you are actually aware of the potential of
the legally available androgen androstenedione. Most of you have seen the info
that was reported from the German patent for the stuff, if not here is a summary of it:
50mg taken orally increases plasma testosterone levels 40-83% above normal baseline
levels. 100mg taken orally increases plasma testosterone levels 111-237% above normal
baseline levels. The test. start to increase about 15 minutes after administration with
a peak about 1 1/2 hours after. The effects last about 3 hours. Most of you should
realize that these are very substancial increases which could result in dramatic
gains in size and strength if taken properly. In my opinion it has to be administered
similarly to Androil would which is about every 3-4 hours. The normal male
produces about 6-10mg of testosterone in the testes per day. This means that
per week about 60mg are produced. I think that you all know that by using 200mg
of exogenous testosterone a week you can experience some signifigant gains. That is
roughly a little over triple of the amount of test. that you would produce naturally.
Since you can raise your test levels to almost triple their natural amounts through
using androstenedione at about 100mg then it seems that you could experience gains
similar to using 200mg of testosterone weekly LEGALLY. Just imagine if more that
100mg of androstenedione were used per dose. I have also done some checking around
and it seems that if androstenedione was injected its effects would be much more potent.
Also, androstenedione aromatizes into estrone in the body. This should not
be a problem at reasonable dosages since estrone is a fairly weak estrogen BUT..
if 5-alpha-androstenedione (5AA) is used in conjunction with androstenedione it can
cut down on the aromatization to estrone by 88%. This could increase the potency
of the androstenedione dramatically. I do not think that 5AA is orally active
so this option would only be possible if you are using androstenedione through injection.
There is also a legal androgen called 19-norandrostenedione which is changed
to nandrolone in the liver in the same manner that androstenedione is changed into
testosterone. That means that there could possibly be a legal way to gain the
effects of Durabolin. I am still checking on this one. It might be very expensive.
I know of another legal androgen that is more powerful than either of the
previously mentioned two but it is not orally active and would have to be injected.
Is anyone interested in me posting more info about these compounds as
obtain more info on them?
*also, I wonder how long it will take the FDA to outlaw these drugs
now that they know that bodybuilders gopt smart enough to try and use them?
