: This is a bit far out there, but I was wandering through some texts and wondered... Would such preparations as Anticholinesterase agents (which are commonly used as treatment for immunologic neuromuscular disorders/myasthenia gravis) be of any use to Bodybuilders/weight trainers in reference to boosting neuromuscular strength, especially in the case of Powerlifters or anyone who would otherwise easily overtrain their neural system by heavy/repetitive lifting? My magic eight-ball says I'm barking-up the wrong tree, but I am researching compounds which would affect/help such neuromuscular strength at a level which would be effective for weight trainers. Could anyone otherwise give me pointers on where one could look?

: Thanks

Well, now are those ANTI-CHOLINERGENIC (spelt wrong?) drugs? If so they keep muscle cells and other
types of cells from over-producing saliva or mucuos secretions. If your body isn't making enough of these
secretions, I'd assume it wouldn't grow as well. it's like being de-hydrated I think.
Don't quote me on that at all, but that's my theory, I took hyoscamine sulfate for obssesive sweating
and I felt like I was loosing strength over time.
