: : Have any of you tried any of the "high fat" diets i.e. BodyOpus. It sounds a bit difficult to consume all of that fat without consuming any carbs. What kind of foods would you eat? If I was looking to carb load for a contest at the end of my carb depletion, how would the insulin tha Duchaine talked about be used? I know it's dangerous, so no need telling me about the dangers unless you fell you really, really, have to.

: Used BodyOpus last spring and am on it now (damn holidays). Works like magic (for me). Diet is pretty boring, but you can eat almost all that evil food that you normally avoid. Any meat you want in plain state, i.e., no breading as in fried chicken. Low carb veggies like brocolli, letuce, etc. Some cheeses are very low carb (check the labels!), mayonaise (again, check the label, they put sugar in everything!!!) If you don't want to shell out $40 for BodyOpus buy the New Atkins diet book for low carb ideas. What you don't get from Atkins is the carb up schedule that Dan prescribes for the weekends. For lots of information on BO, check the posts by Lyle McDonald from this spring/summer in misc.fitness.weights. Lyle went on the diet for 20 weeks and posted updates and thoughts about his experience; great stuff. Good luck.

I was thinking about trying out this diet as well.

How does MCT Oil fit into this diet, if at all.

i've been taking Parrillo Performance's Cap-Tri for
years and was wondering if this substance fits into this diet as well.
