Yes, you are right, the pump really kicks! In regard
to your question, I know of one fellow who had some
for just over a year and it was still good.
If yours was stored in a non threatening environment
then I don't see why it wouldn't still be effective.
If it has lost it's potency, you just won't feel it
do anything and it will not have any negative effects
on you or your health. (Perhaps diarhea if it's gone
real bad but....) If it's still good, you'll feel it
doing its job.
I'm pretty sure it's still good.
