: Does anyone know where I can find any info on how users rate the different supplements on the market (i.e. some kind of survey). Also does anyone know where to find unbiased opinions of the different supplement companies (I know "Amerifit" and "Weider" are junk and "EAS" and "Champion Nutrition" are good, but what about all the others out there?). Bill Phillips used to select products and had them tested in an independent lab and then noted the results in his monthly newsletter (this was before MM2000), but he doesn't seem to get into it any more (I guess you don't want to state bad facts about a company who wants to pay you advertising money). Any info would help!

>>>You answered your own question when you noted Butt Plugs absence of objectivity in Money Maker 2,000,000 . Supplements on the whole are just consentrated food. Aside from maybe creatine, I think that a diet with low fat [20% or less] , carbs that are low glycemic, a plenty of high quality protein is the way to go. You need to eat five times a day, about evry 2-3 hours. If you supplement meal replacement shakes or bars to help hit the appropriate calorie/protein requirements, thats OK. I eat Parillo Bars and drink Met Max by Champion Nutrician. This is a help, but is no replacement for an over-all good diet. Buying by mail saves a lot of money. Try getting ahold of "Cutting Edge", they have inexpensive Champion products. "Supplements Direct" has the best prices on pure whey protien and creatine. Both have web sites, just use a good search engine like Lycos, they'll pop up. LIFT AND LEARN.... >FLATTOP<
