: All my doctors want to treat my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome with Sleeping Pills, Pain Killers, Phenobarbitol, Methamphetamines, ugh!!! I just 'mention' the possibility that maybe a 'body building' medicine like Anabolic Steroids, or HGH, and they lecture me on the GREAT dangers and usher me out the door (with precscriptions for crap junk that will just tear ya down). Anyone send me in the right direction, or send advice to my email on AOL ([email protected]), it would be greatly appreciated. I hate being wore out like I have put in a 60 hour week all the time, its a living hell....Thanx for letting me post...

Bryan,
You need to change doctors. All this hype about steroids is such bullshit. I lost 15 pounds during a bout with depression this past summer. My doctor put me on oxandrolone and I had no trouble putting thr weight back on. What you have is a wasting illness and that is a perfectly legitimate medical need for oxandrolone. By the way, it has virtually no side effects. It doesn't aromatize, so you won't get gyno. Deca is also a safe steroid and would work in your case. Go to your library and look up these drugs in the Physicians' Desk Reference, copy the appropriate information and show it to your doctor. If he won't change his mind, get a new doctor. Good luck!
