I have recently spent two nights in the ER with heart palpitations - I've been taking ma huang tablets and drinking caffeine for two years - Not crazy doses, just what was recomended. I'm still having withdrawls two weeks later after stopping the drugs. You can be dependent on them!! Don't fool yourself - if you feel like you have to take them - take breaks in your dosage! I'm still seeing doctors to see if there are any lasting effects of the drug on my heart! Be Careful!
