In any case, I am reposting the following brief summary of information as it is easily obtained and can potentially save lives. Bear this in mind before deciding to shoot yourself with Insulin every four hours:

Insulin Injection (Regular, Crystalline Zinc):
Humulin R (Lilly)

Concentration (units/ml, in 10ml containers): 100
Onset of Action: 1/2-1.....-
Maximum Effect: 2-4........- Hours After SubQt Asministration
Duration of Action: 6-8....-
