A friend back in November 96, found some sources on the Net and wrote some of them and asked for price lists. He decided to place a small order (less then 4-6 amps) form Bill Moungios, just to test the waters to see if he was legit and to find out if it was possible to get it through the mail. He figured if he ordered a small amount even if it got seized that it wouldn’t be worth any one’s time to pursue it and/or him. Wrong! This was his first attempt to every mail order anything. Three or four weeks after he had sent in the order, Moungios was arrested due apparently to the extra publicity form a article published in BP’s magazine.
Anyway, The order never came and my friend just figured Moungios was arrested before he had time to ship the order. My friend was smart enough not to use his real name when he placed the order and used a false name instead. He never received any seizure notice, nothing so he forgot all about it and wrote it off as bad luck and decided not to try mail order again. All of a sudden out of the blue, two weeks ago, someone shows up at his door asking about "Joe Smith". Some what confused, my friend did not recognize the fictitious name he had used and thought the this person was introducing himself as " Joe Smith" and said "yes, what do you want?" also not realizing at this time that the person at his door was law enforcement and thinking this person was there soliciting something .
The DEA agent thinking he had the right person proceeds to produce his badge and starts to ask questions about Body Building and such. At this time my friend realizes what is going on and says "Joe Smith does not live here and I don’t know any Joe Smith". The agent then asked if he knew any body builders. My friend said no and played dumb. The agent then said " thanks for your time, sorry to bother you" and went on his way. Luckily my friend had never done a cycle of juice before and was wearing large baggy cloths so he did not look like a body builder. He is not very well built.
He had never ordered before and only ordered a very small amount! Apparently the Greek Government has turned over a list of Names and Address that were found when the arrests were made and the DEA is following up on that list! So if you placed an order right before and probably right after the arrest, be careful. You will probably be getting a visit, soon. IF YOU DO GET A VISIT, DON’T ANSWER THE DOOR IN A PAIR OF SHORTS AND A TANK TOP WITH POSTER OF D. YATES HANGING ON YOUR WALL or you might have a hard time convincing Mr. DEA that your not a body builder and that you don’t know any body builders!
A word to the wise...Mail order is risky business so be extremely careful and cover your ass!
