You are absolutely correct. Also there will be somewhat of a sustained
release (though probably only a day or so) with injected androstene. The
17beta-HSD enzyme is plentiful enough in extrahepatic tissues so that
testosterone conversion would still be sufficient.

MW is 286.4 and it is quite soluble in alcohol.
Whats the chance of sublingual
