I used to have the same pain. It comes from bending and moving your wrists when you curl. One way to eliminate the problem is to use straps. Tie them around the bar as if you would pull a weight, but use it to curl. It will lock your wrists. This will only prevent the pain from occuring, though. Once you get this pain, stop all heavy curl exercises for at least 3 weeks otherwise it won't go away. I didn't want to believe that I had to stop curling at first either, but it really is the only way to get rid of the pain. Otherwise it will become unbearable.
